Sacramento is the capitol of California. The downtown area is 13 miles east of Davis. Sacramento is a major city with a population over 400,000. Sacramento and Davis are connected by Highway 80.

Woodland General Area
Woodland is the county seat of Yolo County, located 9 miles north of the City of Davis. Davis and Woodland are connected by Highway 113. Incorporated in 1871, Woodland has a strong historic heritage, which is reflected in an impressive number of historic buildings in its downtown area and surrounding neighborhoods. The Sacramento International Airport is eight miles to the east of Woodland.

Dixon General Area

Dixon is located 10 miles west of Davis on Highway 80. It has a population of 15,511. It is 20 miles southwest of Sacramento.

West Sacramento is located 10 miles east of Davis on Highway 80 with a population of approximately 42,000.

Winters General Area

Winters is located 14 miles west of Davis on County Road 31, with direct access to Highway 505. The population is approximately 6800.
